In January this year, Nationwide asked students across the UK to come up with a short film idea designed to teach young people about the importance of saving money. The winning idea came from Saint Catherine’s College in Armagh in Northern Ireland for ‘Coinsequences’, the curious tale of a kitten saving up to buy a pet elephant.

Nationwide Education and the Transformation Trust education charity have launched Saving the Day –a fun hidden object game about saving and budgeting, aimed at 11-16 year olds. Follow six different characters facing financial conundrums. The STABILO EASYstart materials will equip teachers to teach handwriting in a fun, interesting and engaging way.
Children need to develop their basic writing skills and discover written language in a fun and creative way.
