More avid supporters of The Children's Traffic Club

Welcome to the Club! During the past six months we are pleased to have welcomed additional national supporters to The Children’s Club. The Club has now been established in Cambridge County Council and Norfolk County Council.

Parents and their three year old children living in these areas are being provided with free membership when they join the Club. It is encouraging to see the Club being well recognised and implemented in many areas of the UK as part of local authority's preschool road safety intervention strategies.

Cambridge County Council Director of Public Health, Dr Liz Robin, said “The Children’s Traffic Club is a great way to start getting across the road safety message to children of three and it will give valuable lessons that will help keep children safe throughout their life”.

Norfolk Police and Crime Commissioner Stephen Bett said “I am pleased to support the Children’s Traffic Club as I believe the scheme is a really positive use of police resources. The Club will help increase the safety of our children and teach them the invaluable lesson of road safety, which will keep them safe not just now but as they grow up. This is a real investment in the future”.
